Not once I have talked about impotence drugs. Here, I would like to continue introducing you medicines that help men get rid of their health problems, namely, I will talk about Levitra. This article on Levitra reviews the results of the research that proved the effectiveness of Levitra in treatment of erectile dysfunction with men.

According to large-scale MALES research, 16 % of men from 20 to 75 suffer from erectile dysfunction. Russian researchers conducted an experiment in which 32 patients (aged between 22 and 48) of the kind took part. For a month Levitra dosing for these patients was 10 mg for a night (note that there was no actual sexual realization of the drug’s work). The men were asked to have sexual intercourse as the mood took them. A long-term administration of Levitra has proved to be effective, as it maintained subjective and objective advance in erectile function.

Starting with the third week of the therapy, the coefficient of erectile function was observed to grow. It grew to maximum by the end of Levitra administration and it started to decrease by the end of the research. But still, it was significantly higher than at the period before taking Levitra. If you are tortured by the question of how long does Levitra last, I should say that there is improvement in erectile function for thirty days after the treatment is finished, even though some regression is observed. Objective changes in blood flow are determined by Levitra effects. Meanwhile, some subjective decrease in the effectiveness of the conducted therapy is determined by the absence of “medical holdup”. It is important to inform patients that Levitra should be taken for some time after the treatment. Read the rest of this entry »

Normal erectile function is established and coordinated by a number of regulatory mechanisms and depends on a number of psychological, neurological, hormonal, metabolic, vascular and cavernous factors. Aging and administration of different medicines are also important. Disorders at any of the above-mentioned levels lead to erectile disjunction, though, in most cases, the cause of the disease is rooted in a combination of many factors.

Cialis is known as one of the most effective drugs in erectile dysfunction treatment. Here I will talk about a pilot study that estimated sex hormone ratio changes associated with long-term herbal Cialis administration.

During the experiment the level of steroid hormones with men suffering from different forms of erectile dysfunction was monitored. 20 men who took Cialis for a year participated in the study. The criteria to choose the participants included: age from 18 to 70, erectile dysfunction for three and more months, presence of steady lay for half a year and more, positive response for earlier use of Cialis. At all stages of the experiment the patients did not use any other medicine for erectile dysfunction. The patients were asked to take Cialis at request, to have sexual intercourse for at least four times a month and to keep a Sexual Intercourse Profile. Excluding criteria were: different hormonal dysfunctions, heart problems, various therapies that could have effected the interpretation of the results, psychoses, drug and alcohol addiction. Daily use of Cialis with different doses throughout the treatment period was a prerequisite of the study. Read the rest of this entry »

The FDA has approved only three oral drugs to treat erectile dysfunction; these are Cialis, Levitra and Viagra. Though all three work by increasing the flow of blood into the penis which makes a man sexually stimulated, in the current article we will talk about the existing difference between Cialis and Levitra.

The difference between Cialis and Levitra is rooted in the fact that Cialis works within 15 minutes and lasts up to 36 hours whereas Levitra takes effect in 30 minutes and the effect lasts for 5 hours only. But even considering this difference between Cialis and Levitra one should realize that in case he cannot achieve an adequate erection with one medicine, it is unlikely that he will succeed with another one of the type.
